This is the original painted banner from around 1860

This is the silk replica made in 2004

Fortescue Lodge

The beautiful painted banner had begun to deteriorate, I preserved it by mounting it on a frame stretched with calico and covered in a fine net. This was framed and is now hung in the lodge anti room.

My replica of the banner is embroidered and is an exact copy of the original.

The new banner will provide a usable asset for the lodge whilst providing a strong link with their history and tradition. All my banners are provided with a storage case and care instructions to aid preservation.
